Paperless Options

We are often asked by clients how to discontinue mailing paper statements and other financial documents, like annual reports, proxies, and prospectuses. While we are unable to stop this for you, we have listed below a simple 2-step process for you to enroll*.

Step 1. Turn off paper statements from LPL Financial.

In LPL Account View/Client Portal, click on Go Paperless at the top of the page.

Select each account you would like to enroll. Each month you will receive an email letting you know your statement is available for viewing.

Click here for a step-by-step guide.

Step 2. Opt out of receiving shareholder communications by mail.

To request shareholder communications (like annual reports and prospectuses) for the funds held in your LPL account(s) by email instead of mail, you must register each LPL account with Investor Delivery**.

To enroll, go to https://www.icsdelivery.com/lpl/formnew3.asp. You will need your LPL account number(s) and email address. After enrolling online, you will receive a letter in the mail for each account with an enrollment number. There will be further instructions on that letter to go to www.investordelivery.com to complete the process.

*You must have access to LPL Account View/Client Portal. If you need access, please contact our office or click on "Login to Account View" above and select Sign Up For Account View.

**Not all fund companies are participating, so you may still receive some by mail.

If you have accounts held directly with another company like American Funds, Oppenheimer Funds, Lincoln, Jackson, etc., you will need to register for online access on their website. Follow their instructions to turn off paper statements.
